Choosing the right one

If you aspire to light weight alpine ascents, followed by a fly down then you don’t want to be encumbered with a top spec harness and all the weight it entails.  Then select from Sup Airs light weight or reversible range.

If you are a regular XC flyer then you will go for comfort and adjustability, from the sport or performance range.

However, if you are a comp flyer, then it is the supine Vamp for you, with unsurpassed level or feel, comfort and performance.

Or if you are going to be the next Rodriguez brother, then the new Acro harness will help you on your way!

Sizing and Adjustment

Correct sizing and adjustment are absolutely essential.
Here you see the width of the base plate with respect to the harness size:

The harness size should be chosen according to the height and the build of the pilot.
The harness must be a close fit, so that it is almost an extension of the pilot’s body, which will improve stability.

Approximate relationships of height to harness size:
these are just approximate indications: it is much better to try the appropriate size of the model that interests you.

SupAir Harnesses

All Sup’Air harnesses are made of Cordura.  It has more resistance to abrasion than nylon, giving remarkable durability and an excellent resistance to rips and wear ensure lasting quality.
Sup’Air use only top quality fittings throughout their range and wherever possible lightweight alloys and plastics are utilized to reduce weight.

On all Sup’Air harnesses are the following features:

Safe-T-Bar

– prevents the pilot being able to fall out of the harness should he forget to fasten the leg straps.

ASA

– Auto speedbar adjuster – maintains harness equilibrium during accelerated flight through a self regulating ring at the front of the seat plate.

ABS

– Adjustable Brace System – full control of hang point spacing using an easy to adjust cam-cleat on the chest strap. Easily adjustable mid-flight.
